The all new Blackberry Bold 9000 3G

Just recently released, the all new Blackberry Bold 9000 3G is a very eagerly awaited device and has been branded an iPhone killer.

Unlike previous offerings from RIM the Blackberry Bold is 3G HSDPA compatible and supports UMTS 2100/900/850mhz networks as well as GSM 1900/1800/900/850Mhz bandwidths.

Here's a pic www.telaustralia.com.au/mobile/blackberry

The Blackberry Bold 9000 Smartphone is GPRS, EDGE and HSDPA enabled meaning that there are many data sources available for this device. In Australia this can means speeds of up to 14Mbps on 3G networks. There is also WIFI for those hotspots.

It must have the simplest email set up of any Smartphone around. Just enter your email address and email password and it will search a massive database of know servers for all the required settings. Put the kettle on, when it boils, you will be receiving your emails.

We were stunned by the clarity and color of the display which is WQVGA 480X320.

What’s also great about the new Blackberry 9000 Bold 3G Smartphone is that it is iTunes compatible using Blackberry Media Sync. Just plug into your desk top via USB or Bluetooth, select the items you want to sync with a magically it happens.

What else is new that makes it an iPhone killer? It comes with 1Gb of expandable memory via a Micro SD card Slot (so you can expand up to 32Gb), Interchangeable battery, 2Mb Camera with LED photolight illuminator, Video Recording, 2 year warranty (even Nokia wont go there).

Viewing is managed by the track ball for navigation. This will be more familiar for mouse users than the iPhones finger slide operation and can be done singled handed.

It also has internal GPS with Blackberry Maps and voice guidance available via Tell Map turning it into a Sat Nav machine. It even has bill payment options using Mint Mobile Payments so it can be used as a Mobile Eftpos machine.

This is the ultimate road warriors machine. Do you have a sales team that use Salesforce? Well the Blackberry Bold 9000 3G can be synced with Sales Force CRM Software.

What probably makes it more compatible for business use that the iPhone is that it can be used single handed... which is hard to do with the iPhone when it comes to just making a phone calls.

The new Blackberry Bold 9000 3G really is a total wireless solution.

Features of the 3G Blackberry Bold include:
