Well, sometimes you need to get your name out there; you might have a great site, but know one knows about it! Here are 12 simple tips on how to promote your website: 1. Add your website to your signature for all outgoing mail. This might be a simple thing to think of, but people will remember it. 2. Answer questions on Forums or a related Member Groups and make sure your website address is included in your signature. 3. Create a blog, and write relative and creative articles to your business. Don’t forget to add your contact details and website address at the bottom of your articles. Also, add a link on your blog to your website address. 4. Send out a Press release when your website gets launched or when adding a new product or service. 5. Create a links page on your website and exchange your website link with other sites that have similar content. 6. Make sure your website address is prominent on ALL of your stationary, business cards, flyers or any other advertising material. 7. Add your website to Search Engines like Google, Yahoo and MSN... The list is endless. 8. Add your website to Business Directories. Head off to Google and search for a few - there are loads out there! 9. Get a sticker made up which says your website address.
