Ambul8 specialise in providing fashionable, comfortable and affordable active wear for women in sizes 12-18. We have bright, colourful and practical garments suitable for active and everyday wear.

2. When and why did you start your business?

Opening online on July 1, Ambul8 was designed to fill a large hole in the market for bright colourful active wear for curvy women in sizes that fit and allow women to feel comfortable and confident.

3. On a personal level, what have you achieved with your business?

As this is a new business, currently our biggest achievement would be the finalisation of the preparation for our launch. We are on track and very excited about our upcoming launch on July 1.

4. What are some of the challenges you’ve faced in growing your business?

7. Name your favourite thing about your business

We are different. We have unique products that are designed with the fuller figure woman in mind. Curvy women deserve to feel confident and encouraged to participate in various activities.

8. Who or what other businesses or business people inspire you?

Richard Branson - who could not be inspired by the man. On a more local level, I admire anyone with the confidence to try a new endeavour.

9. What are your plans for the future of your business?

Eventually we would like to expand our size range as there seems to be so little available for larger size women that is still attractive, fun and colourful active wear
