The B-Protected Workwear website supplies trade and retail customers with product from brands such as Hard Yakka, King Gee, DNC, AIW and Visitec. Products include overalls, cargo trousers, work shorts, work shirts and Bluey Jackets.

B-Protected is an Independent Australian Owned Business with over 25 successful years of trading.

3. On a personal level, what have you achieved with of your business?

http://www.workwear.b-protected.com.au has been a steep learning curve, not only from a technical perspective with HTML, CGI scripts, SSL secure transactions but from a business perspective of what can be done online to help customers find the products they are searching for.

4. What are some of the challenges you’ve faced in growing your business?

Setting ourselves apart from the crowd has been the biggest challenge. Some companies online seem to run from backstreet locations with backstreet ethics. Ensuring customers know we are real by providing information such as abn, address, contact numbers... which surprising many online businesses don't have.

5. What activities have been successful in promoting your business?

Search engines generate most of the traffic for us.

6. What activities were less successful for marketing your business?

We have tried article submit software, which we found to be very poor and a complete waste of time.

7. Name your favourite thing about your business

Compliments about the site.

8. Who or what other businesses or business people inspire you?

We spot good ideas everywhere, not from one single source that I could name.
