Finding continuous work, tendering and quoting are always a challenge. developing a profile in a new town and making the right business connections. 5. What activities have been successful in promoting your business? Advertising in rural newsletters and offering work to communities. Word of mouth. 6. What activities were less successful for marketing your business? Advertising in the local newspaper and local directory expensive for little response. 7.
