Providing Electrical and Data Communications. Domestic and Commercial electrical installations, repairs, fault finding, tariff upgrades and improvements, data cabling and data services. New homes and renovations/upgrades and pre-purchase electrical evaluations, understanding what you are buying before purchase. Providing opportunities for homes to reduce their electricity bill, understanding their usage and overall reduce their carbon footprint.

3. On a personal level, what have you achieved with of your business?

The satisfaction of working for myself, working with customers helping them make better informed decisions about electrical usage through the changing tariffs. Assisting in emergency breakdowns and getting people back operating again. seeing the job job from start to finish and done properly.

4. What are some of the challenges you’ve faced in growing your business?

Finding continuous work, tendering and quoting are always a challenge. developing a profile in a new town and making the right business connections.

5. What activities have been successful in promoting your business?

Advertising in rural newsletters and offering work to communities. Word of mouth.

6. What activities were less successful for marketing your business?

Advertising in the local newspaper and local directory expensive for little response.

7. Name your favourite thing about your business

I can make it what I want. I am service orientated and provide prompt, reliable service.

8. Who or what other businesses or business people inspire you?

9. What are your plans for the future of your business?

I would like to develop a steady flow of work and grow to start an apprentice and a tradesman. Expand eventually to have a large profitable and service orientated company.
