1. Tell us about your business

We are an online store selling, unique and beautiful handmade clothes, accessories and gifts for children.

2. When and why did you start your business?

We started in October 2008. Many friends and passers by would say, "where do you get that?" when they saw our children's clothing etc so we thought, 'maybe we should sell this!'

3. On a personal level, what have you achieved with of your business?

A great amount of personal satisfaction and pride in our products and website. Sales are great too!

4. What are some of the challenges you’ve faced in growing your business?

Getting the word out about our website and getting to people to give online shopping a go. We are doing this on a pretty tight budget so advertising is very expensive for us.

5. What activities have been successful in promoting your business?

Markets, directory listing and family and friends spreading the word.

6. What activities were less successful for marketing your business?

Hmmm...not sure really.

7. Name your favourite thing about your business

Everything is handmade and locally produced. We are supporting local industries and the little people giving it a go.

9. What are your plans for the future of your business?

Growing our customer base and coming up with more unique children\'s products based on our own children\'s needs.
