Creative Photographics caters for Weddings, Portraits, Commercial, Product, PR photography. Photographer, Ian Wharton has over 20 years experiance in the industry and can take almost any photographic job you require. We also prints and supply pull up banners, outdoor vinyl banners, Short run CD duplication and printing.

2. When and why did you start your business?

Over 20 years ago I disciverd I had a natural talent with the camera, and decided to go for it, I have been loving it ever since!

3. On a personal level, what have you achieved with your business?

I have won lots of awards over the years, not only in Australia, but the UK and USA as well.

4. What are some of the challenges you’ve faced in growing your business?

Changes in technology, people thinking they have a digital camera, so suddenly they are a profesional photographer.

5. What activities have been successful in promoting your business?

3rd party promotions through like minded business. Networking groups, expos, website, direct email and mail marketing.

6. What activities were less successful for marketing your business?

A couple of leaflet distributions we did through the local school.

7. Name your favourite thing about your business

Flexibility of working hours, meeintg new people each and every week.

8. Who or what other businesses or business people inspire you?

Tasmanian Photographer, Tero Sade.

9. What are your plans for the future of your business?

Grow and expand our range of product to become a one stop business and commercial supplier while keeping our wedding and portait side busy.
