Family Deals is an online website that sells a whole range of products at discounted prices including Electrical, computer and software, health & beauty, gadgets, baby goods and much much more...

2. When and why did you start your business?

Family Deals started in November 2006. I started the business after personal tragedy prevented me from going back to full time employment.

3. On a personal level, what have you achieved with your business?

I have achieved my goal in owning and running my own business. I am able to run my own business and at the same time manage my family.

4. What are some of the challenges you’ve faced in growing your business?

The expense in advertising which has not always come out with positive responses.

5. What activities have been successful in promoting your business?

Advertising on online search engines, newspapers AUSTRALIA WIDE.

6. What activities were less successful for marketing your business?

Using school newsletters to advertise with barely any response.

7. Name your favourite thing about your business

Our name Family Deals because Family is what we are all about.

8. Who or what other businesses or business people inspire you?

Dick Smith, Harvey Norman.

9. What are your plans for the future of your business?

To open a chain of stores around AUSTRALIA so that customers are able to purchase online and able to pick up items in person if they so wish.
