Learning Programs for Children Years 5-7 One Day Intensive Seminars selected Sundays and School Holidays. Student Well-being is our focus. We teach each child:

• Strategies to help with school, friends and teacher\'s expectations;
• How to be more independent and willing to take risks to improve their overall performance;
• How to be successful at school;
• Prepare effectively for High School. Confident children are more willing to accept responsibility for their learning.

2. When and why did you start your business?

Approx twelve months ago to help children to be more successful in Primary School and in readiness for High School.

3. On a personal level, what have you achieved with your business?

Happy kids and grateful parents.

4. What are some of the challenges you’ve faced in growing your business?

Getting my message out there with limited funds.

5. What activities have been successful in promoting your business?

Talking to parents and inserts in school newsletters.

6. What activities were less successful for marketing your business?

Newspaper leaflets - mailouts

7. Name your favourite thing about your business

I get to build relationships and provide a link for children and parents to the expertise of an experienced teacher who cares enough to write and deliver specific training programs for Years 5-7 children.

Gary Kewish from the Wealth Factory and Lara Kilborn from the BEC.

9. What are your plans for the future of your business?

To hold Seminars for children all over Sydney and give up my full-time Classroom Teacher position.

Starting your own business is a lot slower than you think it is going to be. There is so much involved and often you are filled with self doubt and you really feel like giving up. You really need to be passionate about what you want to achieve otherwise the burning flame will go out and you will be just another statistic.
