Mums Bubs and Gifts is an online store specialising in innovative products and gifts for mums and bubs along with great gift ideas for the whole family.

2. When and why did you start your business?

I started my business in March 2009. I have always had a desire to start my own business and after the birth of my beautiful baby boy in 2008 gave me the extra motivation as I decided I wanted to be a stay at home mum.

3. On a personal level, what have you achieved with of your business?

On a personal level I have achieved great satisfaction in having my own business and it has also allowed me to be a stay at home mum, which is very important to me.

4. What are some of the challenges you’ve faced in growing your business?

The biggest challenge I have faced has been finding ways to reach a higher level and set my self apart from my retail competitors.

5. What activities have been successful in promoting your business?

Online directories and cost effective advertising have been most successful for me as well as word of mouth.

6. What activities were less successful for marketing your business?

I have found very expensive advertising to be unsuccessful for me.

7. Name your favourite thing about your business

Being able to provide exciting and innovative products to mums of today while giving me the flexibility to be a stay at home mum to my beautiful little man.

8. Who or what other businesses or business people inspire you?

Mumpreneurs from all businesses inspire me.

9. What are your plans for the future of your business?

My future business plans are to build my business up and continue to grow and flourish into a successful business for my family's future.
