On-A-Budget is a Retail Business Listing Directory of Austalian Suppliers of Everyday needs for all Aussies. 2. When and why did you start your business?

I started on a Budget a couple of months ago in the hope of raising extra money above our pension to provide better care for my husband who suffers from Alzheimer's. I need to be able to pay for more in home care he will have to be admitted to a Nursing Home.

3. On a personal level, what have you achieved with of your business?

I have learnt a lot about Affiliates and how to build a website.

4. What are some of the challenges you’ve faced in growing your business?

Finding free places to advertive that will attract people that are hapy to shop on line. Getting visitors in general to the Website.

5. What activities have been successful in promoting your business?

7. Name your favourite thing about your business

It offers other Australians a chance to shop on line and save money without have to search page after page on Google or Yahoo and most of the businesses I have shopped at myself over the last few years so I know they are secure and reliable.

8. Who or what other businesses or business people inspire you?

It was not business oe business people it was friends as my first page explains. "The idea for On-A-Budget came after discussions with friends who were searching for ways to save money and help the economy and environment at the same time. After research and printing off a list of businesses that I recommend, it was their suggestion that we share this list with other Australian Online Shoppers. Hence the birth of On-A-Budget.com.au.

9. What are your plans for the future of your business?

I hope to build it into a sucessfull business with enough income to support myself and my husband which will allow him to remain home with me for another 27 Years or however long he has left.

10. Share your best business tip with our readers.

I am only am armature but my motto is if you have an idea "Have a go" try it and if all else fails at least you will have learnt some valuable lessons along the way.
