Photoshow on DVD is a new way to capture family moments. A Photoshow is created when you mix photos with music and put them on DVD. Photos are restored and resized into a set of photos that tell a story and your can watch it on TV using a DVD player or computer.

2. When and why did you start your business?

Photoshow on DVD started in August 2008 through many requests from family and friends wanting to digitise their photos and old videos to watch on TV.

3. On a personal level, what have you achieved with of your business?

Through Photoshow on DVD, we are giving back to the community joy and memories. It truly makes us happy to know that we have made someone smile with our services.

4. What are some of the challenges you’ve faced in growing your business?

Some of the challenges have mainly been technical as we constantly keep up-to-date with changing technology.

5. What activities have been successful in promoting your business?

Using Google Adwords has brought us many clients to our website, direct marketing throught leaflet distribution in home letterboxes and most importantly word-of-mouth advertising been the best way we promote our business.

6. What activities were less successful for marketing your business?

Print advertising has been less successful as compared to online marketing.

7. Name your favourite thing about your business

We enjoy presenting the completed personalised DVD to our clients as most of them are so pleased and happy with the end copy and have always come back to us with more work.

8. Who or what other businesses or business people inspire you?

Business that involves helping the community has always inspired me. Helping each other by refering or recommending a business to clients who require a service or in need of help has always inspired me to do my part for the community.

9. What are your plans for the future of your business?

We hope to continue to fully operate our business and bring joy to many people wanting to preserve their photos and videos of their family.
