1. Tell us about your business

Planet Blue is a web based business. It promotes a range of environmentally safe products. It's ongoing, there's always another product or company to promote. And that is what Planet Blue is about..growth. In providing as many eco friendly alternatives for as many aspects of our lives as possible.But also growth in online presence. The more people Planet Blue can reach the more it can make a positive change for our health & the health of Earth on which we live.

2. When and why did you start your business?

I started the business very recently,in the last few months.So it's in early days.I started the business for a number of reasons. Personal circumstances mean I need to live between Australia & the UK. So I need an office I can take with me where ever I am. Also having been in the cleaning industry for a number of years I don't want to work around chemical based products anymore. And last but not least, I really feel that the ability of the internet to reach a huge audience can be used to make a real positive change in our world.

3. On a personal level, what have you achieved with of your business?

Even though it is early days, I feel that I am contributing something really worthwhile. Yes, I want to make money, but what a great feeling if I can achieve that goal by providing products & awareness that make a genuine change for the better in people's lives & the well being of our planet & all the creatures that call it home.

4. What are some of the challenges you’ve faced in growing your business?

So far... learning how to put a website together. Then doing it again because it isn't right!!Learning a lot more about the internet, marketing & how to get things done by myself because I don't have a budget!! PATIENCE...

5. What activities have been successful in promoting your business?

7. Name your favourite thing about your business

That there is something that will make a positive change being created and it can be done sitting at home.

8. Who or what other businesses or business people inspire you?

I like Richard Branson... that guy enjoys himself!

9. What are your plans for the future of your business?

To market it globally to a bigger audience as possible.

So far as already mentioned.. patience.But also it's really important to believe in what you're doing.I know that's been said before,but it's true. I once read somewhere that the more people you touch with what you do the more successful you will be. If your hearts not in it how do you ever hope to capture anyone else's?
