RipeNutrition provides advice and support for women and their family experiencing infertility, pregnancy, postnatal and children’s health issues. Areas we commonly address include: PCOS, pre-conception nutrition gestational diabetes, healthy pregnancy, weight management, diabetes and kids nutrition.

2. When and why did you start your business?

We started our business in 2007 because we saw a need for women to receive nutritional advice, support and professional counselling during her reproductive years and for her family.

3. On a personal level, what have you achieved with of your business?

We have helped over 300 women/families so far deal with the stress of infertility, provided nutritional advice to help couples fall pregnant and supported them throughout pregnancy and beyond.

4. What are some of the challenges you’ve faced in growing your business?

Receiving referrals from doctors and medical professionals.

5. What activities have been successful in promoting your business?

Brochures and website.

6. What activities were less successful for marketing your business?

Brisbane's Child advertising and other news print media.

Seeing clients achieve their goals.

8. Who or what other businesses or business people inspire you?

Virgin Blue.

9. What are your plans for the future of your business?

To get bigger and have several ripe nutrition clinics open.

Set yourself a marketing budget and stick to it. Work on client referrals rather than expensive advertising.
