Scentsual Obsessions FM Fragrances1. Tell us about your business Scentsual Obsessions is a distributorship of FM fragrances a part of the FM group. A successful international multi level marketing business established in 59 countries. It entered the Australian market about 2 years ago and has recently expanded into NZ. Our fragrances are original & exclusive, created by DROM, the same perfumery behind famous names such as Gucci, Escada & l'Oreal. At FM we don't pay celebrities mega $$ for endorsements and advertising, hence we retail high quality perfumes at pleasing prices. As an mlm, FM offers business opportunites. There is no membership costs to join the FM group and each member chooses their own level of commitment. They may wish to join as private users of the product only, or they may wish to sell some product, earning the profit on their hobby business. For the business minded there exists an opportunity to develop an international business with eligibility to great bonuses on top of profit,. Plus 8.5% share of the companies overall profits. You company car will be your own mercedes. 2. When and why did you start your business? I started my business a little over a year ago. My family hit a period of financial hardship and I was required to look for work. Unfortunately, my age. despite my qualifications was a hindrance in the conventional work force. When I applied to join FM no body asked me my age, weight or cultural background. FM was affordable, it offers a popular, affordable and product of high standards. It is a fun business and it is so easy to achieve success. 3. On a personal level, what have you achieved with your business? My business offers me a personal satisfaction, as I am offering a product of high quality which everyone can afford and the satisfaction of knowing I am offering people a vehicle to achieve their dreams if they so choose. I have fostered many memorable relationships. The FM group has given me the vehicle to grow and re instill a believe system in myself which was lacking for a long time. 4. What are some of the challenges you’ve faced in growing your business? I always knew I had a great business opportunity and love the product, but there was that underlying lack of belief to whether I could carry it through. It is always easy to find excuses for not having the time, so I worked on the reasons to why I should succeed. I assessed my long and short term goals (personal & business) and put a business plan and rules into place. I started to treat my business as a business which required set hours of work. Not something I did in my spare time as I really did not have spare time. 5. What activities have been successful in promoting your business? I have taken advantage of many of the free advertising sites available. But more importantly, I take part in many fundraising events as a form of public relations. I make it a habit of talking to as many people about my wonderful FM perfumes. 6. What activities were less successful for marketing your business? Letterboxing 7. Name your favourite thing about your business There is always a new adventure 8. Who or what other businesses or business people inspire you? I am inspired by those who have achieved success despite a life of adversity. 9. What are your plans for the future of your business? As the business is very new to Australia, without much representation in my state of Victoria, my goal is to bring awareness of the FM products to as many people as I can.
