1. Tell us about your business

Splice House is an online Scrapbooking store that is dedicated to "Helping you build your memories from the ground up". We stock a wide range of products that range from papers to cardstock, stickers to rub ons, embellishments to stamps and much much more.

2. When and why did you start your business?

Splice House came about in Feb 07, as a result of a friend of mine and myself needing something to do while we were out of work and looking after our children.

3. On a personal level, what have you achieved with of your business?

I have recently taken over as Soul Trader of Splice House.

4. What are some of the challenges you’ve faced in growing your business?

Finding suitable places to advertise, that are going to get the best results possible.

5. What activities have been successful in promoting your business?

WOMOW (Word Of Mouth On the Web) and word of mouth from friends and family.

6. What activities were less successful for marketing your business?

I have only advertised on other Scrapbooking sites at the moment, so I can't really answer that yet.

7. Name your favourite thing about your business

I can do it all at home, while looking after my little girl.

8. Who or what other businesses or business people inspire you?

I don't really have one.
