1. Tell us about your business

Spyder Ryder Australia is the first business in the world to offer thrill rides and tours on the unique new CanAm Spyder Roadster and the only company in Australia offering hire/rentals on this fantastic machine.

2. When and why did you start your business?

Spyder Ryder Australia was started after seeing this new three wheeled motorcycle at the Gold Coast motorcycle expo. The Spyder attracts attention wherever it goes. The business was started in July 2009.

3. On a personal level, what have you achieved with of your business?

I have started the business from scratch and learnt all about a new and exciting industry and can't wait for the business to expand Australia wide.

4. What are some of the challenges you’ve faced in growing your business?

Understanding my target market and how best to reach them.

5. What activities have been successful in promoting your business?

The recent Australian Motorcycle Expo at the Gold Coast Convention Center worked well as did a recent promotional tour that we participated in spyderdownunder.com.

6. What activities were less successful for marketing your business?

Easyfindguide website would have to be the worst marketing decision I have ever made.

7. Name your favourite thing about your business

I get to ride a unique new motorcycle everyday and get to meet people who are interested in motorcycling.

8. Who or what other businesses or business people inspire you?

Any other young people in business who have started a business for themselves.

9. What are your plans for the future of your business?

To promote Spyder Ryder as a brand and open up other locations around Australia so everyone can experience the Spyder Roadster.
