Stone Fitness is a holistic fitness solution provider. This means that individuals or groups who we serve each receive a custom solution for an outcome they seek for the immediate and long-term sustainability. Stone Fitness has a state of the art online fitness and nutritional project planning tool built on a social network that can save organisations money as well as generate revenue when used as a health promotions tool. In many instances, this solution can be deployed for free to an organisation. 2. When and why did you start your business?

Stone Fitness was started in 2003 and brought to Australia in 2005. It was brought to Australia because Australia has the highest incidence of obesity in the world! For a young country which used to have the highest health marks to what it is now indicates a significant change in thinking as well as an opportunity to add value to the population at large by providing a scaleable, customiseable solution which will positively affect health.

3. On a personal level, what have you achieved with of your business?

On a personal level, I have been able to meet some really great people who I have been able to learn from as well as giving value to others.

4. What are some of the challenges you’ve faced in growing your business?

I have faced having unproductive thoughts around captital raising. Sometimes I have believed that things had to be accomplished a certain way rather than taking a more expanded view that there are multiple ways of accomplishing any one thing - this is especially true when that outcome is congruent with the laws of life/nature.

5. What activities have been successful in promoting your business?

Radio has been the most successful medium used in promoting my buisness. However, referrals have been even more powerful.

6. What activities were less successful for marketing your business?

The medium which proved to be the least abundant has been adverts in the newspaper.

7. Name your favourite thing about your business

The best thing about my business is seeing when a client has achieved a personal or physiological outcome they set out to accomplish. It feels good to be a part of it.

8. Who or what other businesses or business people inspire you?

Personal Development organisations inspire me. In particular www.imagineeringunlimited.com has provided the most value in the way of business and performance coaching.

9. What are your plans for the future of your business?

Over the next 12 - 24 months, I would like to see 1 million active users on our site.
