1. Tell us about your business

We are a buzzing, Sydney based organisation focused on Energy Efficiency, Solar Panels, and Electric Bicycles. We love saving customers money and the planet through installation of Home Solar PV Systems and energy efficiency retrofits, such as halogen downlight replacement.

2. When and why did you start your business?

We've been around since 2007, and kicked off because we saw a need for resources to be shared (equipment, engineering experience) at a low cost in order to tackle the global warming challenge.

3. On a personal level, what have you achieved with of your business?

We are most proud of our flagship solar projects, the Newcastle is Going Solar program and the Castlemaine Solar project.

4. What are some of the challenges you’ve faced in growing your business?

Never enough time in the day.

5. What activities have been successful in promoting your business?

Suburban newspapers have been useful, as have fairs.

6. What activities were less successful for marketing your business?

Radio didn't work for our product mix.

7. Name your favourite thing about your business

We're doing feel-good stuff that makes a difference - helps you get out of bed with a spring in your step.
