1. Tell us about your business

Testpoint is an Australian based company, a leader in providing Software Test Automation Solutions to an array of reputable companies around Australia. We offer our specialist services across a wide range of clients from various sectors. Our automated testing solution is helping our clients significantly to deliver their product to market with confidence and quality.

2. When and why did you start your business?

Our business started in 2007 after a group of experts in the Software Testing Industry decided it was time to partner up and implement our own proven automated software testing Framework (Stream Test Pro) and help organisations save hundreds of thousands of dollars which we saw them waste over the past 15 years of consulting. Since establishing our methodology (TPOINT) we have never looked back and our latest certified consultants who are taking our strategy on board have thanked us for grouping up and making our ideas available to the market.

3. On a personal level, what have you achieved with of your business?

Satisfaction of developing a company which is passionate about its service and quality added solution. Seeing consultants come through our doors thinking they knew everything there is to know about software testing and then being blown off their feet when they learn what they only wished they new years back really helps me get out of bed every monday morning to transform another!

4. What are some of the challenges you’ve faced in growing your business?

Helping people change when they dont have the time to listen or think its too late. Our success has mainly come from business that want to make a difference or really believe in the quality which we can deliver. However there is so much more business and service to offer to companies who have not yet opened their doors to quality Australian Solutions.

5. What activities have been successful in promoting your business?

Making our testimonials and references available to our market. The word of mouth concept has really helped market our solutions, This concept of reminding our clients that their feedback is very important and valued has really helped our business grow and tell others that we are ready to make you part of our proven success.

6. What activities were less successful for marketing your business?

Telemarketing. I believe it wasn't as successful as I had hoped it was and this is mainly due to the type of business we are involved in.

7. Name your favourite thing about your business

Our product solution which really helps managers and teams smile and sleep better. Seeing companies make a real return on investment for implementing our solution is the favourite thing about us!

8. Who or what other businesses or business people inspire you?

Those what have been innovative and made us wonder how simple the solution really was but yet we didn't think that the demand was there!.

9. What are your plans for the future of your business?

Its time we make our solution visible and welcome the challenges that any organisation may put us through. Its another happy client that will make it a good year!

Always plan and review your plan. Dont worry if you didnt stick to the plan just review and know how close or far off you are. Dont be suprised if you end up doing something that was better. Also don't fear your competition but learn from them!
