TotalGamesToys is an Australian owned and operated registered online business in Morley WA, stocking entertaining products for kids and adults alike, from PC & video games, kids toys, games, trading cards, gaming figures, children’s dvds and more. Shipping is free with orders over $150 and all new customer orders receive a discount coupon code for any future purchase.

2. When and why did you start your business?

Business commenced in mid 2005, originally selling on Australian auction sites. It soon became a passion, and in late 2006 the TotalGamesToys website was developed through Mantis Technologies. Having a family of my own who are keen on toys and games, the business was started to provide fun products to the public/other families.

3. On a personal level, what have you achieved with of your business?

One of the best achievements has been having the opportunity to deal with a range of excellent Australian suppliers and in turn supporting other Australian businesses. Enjoying every aspect, from dealing with customers, managing the site, and learning a huge amount along the way.

4. What are some of the challenges you’ve faced in growing your business?

Budget limits with marketing to the masses.

5. What activities have been successful in promoting your business?

Web SEO, customer recommendations, offline advertising from print media to car banners, etc.

None to date.

7. Name your favourite thing about your business

Having a real interest in the products and looking after our customers.

8. Who or what other businesses or business people inspire you?

Any business/business person who has a passion for what they do and their heart is in it! Richard Branson would be the most inspiring with what he has achieved.

9. What are your plans for the future of your business?

Possibly open up to international selling and continuing to source entertaining products.
