1. Tell us about your business

This business takes the principles observed in 'The Secret', the Law of Attraction, and teaches people to utilise them on a daily basis to create growth in any and/or every area of their lives.

2. When and why did you start your business?

I started my business in July 2008 and worked it very part time around my then-current job. My main reason for starting my business was because I had found myself very stressed, burnt out & generally unhappy in my current job, and realised the impact this was having on not only my health and relationships, but my family too.

3. On a personal level, what have you achieved with of your business?

My life has completely changed as a result of my business! I was getting results in just 2 days of getting started. My husband who was very skeptical, now supports and assists me. I quit my job in December and now work from home around my children! No more guilty feelings when my kids are sick, I am already home and have the flexibility to give them my full attention when I want. My relationships have improved, and I am a much happier, optimistic person and my outlook on life is now full of joy, gratitude & excitement!

4. What are some of the challenges you’ve faced in growing your business?

I had always looked to others for their 'approval' and this time I was learning to rely on myself and be guided by my own intuition with the decisions I an making. Learning to 'walk to the beat of my own drum' has been a big lesson for me, & one that I am very grateful I had the courage to take.

5. What activities have been successful in promoting your business?

Taking action; no-one achieves anything by sitting on the couch! Talking to people & being passionate about what I do! Believe it nor not - daily visualisation & meditation have become catalyst to my success. This is a part of my life that I can't imagine running my business without. Online & offline advertising has been very good for promoting my business too.

My business has taught me to accept who I am, where I am, physically, spiritually, mentally, and be GRATEFUL for every thing in my life! Without gratitude, there is little to be enjoyed! I also love that I get to assist others in changing their lives and experiencing the joy & success I do!

8. Who or what other businesses or business people inspire you?

Bob Proctor is an amazing business philosopher; I love reading his books. Jim Rohn has been VERY inspirational. Napoleon Hill & his book 'Think & Grow Rich' provides a wealth of information about finding and following your dreams/goals.

9. What are your plans for the future of your business?

My plan is to empower people through this business, for them to see the value in THEIR dreams and that they CAN achieve anything they want given the right tools and knowledge.
