1. Tell us about your business

We are a Web Design company based in Melbourne, Australia who have designed, developed and serviced hundreds of websites for businesses of all ages, shapes and sizes worldwide. We help to develop new and existing offline businesses with quality and cost effective online solutions that increase business opportunities, accelerate brand recognition and convert visitors into repeat customers through impressive Website Design and innovative Online Marketing strategies.

2. When and why did you start your business?

We started GOOD2GO in 2008 with the vision to offer a more cost effective solutions to small to medium sized businesses throughout Australia. After years in the industry prior we realised that Web Design and quality Online Marketing solutions were somewhat out of reach for most small to medium sized businesses as most Web Design companies were thinking of their pockets rather than what they can do for their clients. We knew if we took an approach to offer a cost effective yet quality approach and look after our clients within that niche that we would get loads of business and get our name out there at the same time.

4. What are some of the challenges you’ve faced in growing your business?

Web Design within Melbourne is a very competitive market, thus we have had to work hard to secure our position within that market.

5. What activities have been successful in promoting your business?

The key to promoting an online business is just the same as it would be for any offline businesses. Get your name out there. We have been successful by spreading our name across the internet via various link building methods and onsite optimisation. Also through word of mouth...As we offer such cost effective packages we manage to get alot of referral business. You'll be suprised how many people in business have friends within business and how many of those friends within business dont actually have websites...

6. What activities were less successful for marketing your business?

Hard to say, most things that you do (especially on the internet) tend to have some sort of effect of what on your results. I think its all been fairly productive.

7. Name your favourite thing about your business

Our brand, such a strong brand with a great name and a good feel and what we are doing for small to medium businesses...This gives us great satisfaction.

9. What are your plans for the future of your business?

Expand, expand and then expand some more. After some touch times at the beginning we have now got a be strong business and have a very solid foundation which will allow us to grow and expand nationally and internationally.
