As the franchise owner, I service all my customers directly. My goal is to be the best in the business, the only choice for Canberrans.

2. When and why did you start your business?

I bought the North Canberra Franchise in May 2010 so I could be my own boss.

3. On a personal level, what have you achieved with your business?

So far I have gained several regular customers and have steadily grown busier week by week.

4. What are some of the challenges you’ve faced in growing your business?

Getting the message out there.

5. What activities have been successful in promoting your business?

Door knocking has been, by far, the most successful actity to grow clientelle.

6. What activities were less successful for marketing your business?

So far letter box drops aren't working, but it's still early days and that marketing has to be maintained to acheive a result.

7. Name your favourite thing about your business

I'm the boss.

8. Who or what other businesses or business people inspire you?

The master franchisee for Canberra has grown his business to extraordinary levels and he is very helpful as a mentor.

9. What are your plans for the future of your business?

Within 5 years I will have a depot in north Canberra as well as at least 2 mobile detailing units.
