Apex Internet unmeters TiVo

Apex Internet, Canberra's second oldest locally owned and operated Internet Service Provider (ISP), today announced an agreement with Hybrid Television Services (ANZ) Pty Limited, the exclusive licensee of TiVo® products in Australia and New Zealand and the creator of CASPA. On-Demand, to give Apex Internet customers unmetered access to the growing range of CASPA on-demand content on their TiVo media device.

Apex Internet customers are from the date of this release able to download TiVo's electronic program guide, software updates, new release and library movies, TV and music as well as a growing range of on-demand content and services planned in the near future, without any impact on their monthly quota.

“This latest new offering further adds to our expanding unmetered content library, giving customers access to free legal content online without impacting on their monthly download quota” said Apex Internet's, Cody Appleby.

“More and more, we are finding that our customers want to watch television but also want to enjoy high quality broadband content. With an average film being around 2GB in size, unmetering movies alone gives great value to our customers, especially those on plans with smaller quotas”

“The partnership with Hybrid Television Services, is designed to give Apex Internet customers that own a TiVo media device a wider range of services and more value for their dollar” he says.

“TiVo was an early entrant into the set top box market in Australia and has done a great job in marketing and educating the public . it is only logical for Apex Internet as a local innovative ISP to unmeter content” concludes Mr. Appleby.
