LG Unveils World's First 3G Touch Watch Phone

Sydney, Australia: The stuff of boyhood adventure realised - LG Electronics, a global leader in design and technology is giving you the opportunity to unleash the 'under-cover agent' within with the release of its new, exclusive Touch Watch Phone this December.

The world's first market-ready Touch Watch Phone (LG-GD910) is a stylish, wearable watch phone that features a full touchscreen interface, 3G capabilities and video calling. Combine this with the fact that only a limited quantity of the Touch Watch Phones are making their way to Australia, and you have a product guaranteed to be sought after by tech-savvy consumers and at the top of Christmas wish-lists this December.

The innovative watch phone is a follow-up to the prototype that LG unveiled at Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in 2009 which has created a buzz amongst trend-setters world-wide. Finally here in Australia, the Touch Watch Phone features the cutting-edge technology LG is renowned for.

It is the first touch watch phone in the world to feature 7.2 Mbps 3G HSDPA compatibility, enabling high-speed data transmission and video calls using the built-in camera.

Voice recognition features, which can be used with or without a Bluetooth headset, make it easier to place calls and look up contacts. Text to Speech (TTS) reads text messages and other information out loud for even greater convenience. The phone also includes Bluetooth and a built-in speaker for playing back music. A large phonebook and scheduler help with organisation.

The LG Watch Phone has a stylish curved tempered glass face, high quality metal casing and is a mere 13.9mm thick. Sending text messages, making video or voice calls, and of course keeping accurate time, is all achieved using the phone's touchscreen interface on its 3.63cm (1.43-inch) screen and LG's intuitive Flash Interface.

The LG Touch Watch Phone is available from December for RRP $2,299.
