With exceptional Full HD 1080p resolution and massive storage with the built-in HDD (500GB for HR599D & 250GB for HR598D), the HR589D and HR599D twin HD recorder and Blu-ray players deliver the ultimate in picture quality.

The HR598D and HR599D boast Twin HD Tuners, allowing it to simultaneously record two live TV channels at once while watching other media content from the Blu-Ray player, internal HDD or external HDD.

USB file playback/ copy system allows convenient playback or copy music, photos or HD video files to/ from a Portable Hard Drive (up to 1TB).

HR599D packs an impressive built-in 500GB hard drive, which allows the user to time-shift live TV. The unit also features a USB port to connect an external hard drive (up to 1TB) to further boost storage capacity if required. These hard drives can be used to record free to air TV show or to playback DivX HD and MKV videos or music files. The ability to connect and record to an external hard drive gives essentially unlimited recording capacity and eliminates the cost required in purchasing Blu-ray discs to store the recorded HD content.

Connected to a broadband home network, user can access online content such as YouTube™ Video directly on their TV.
