More Air Pacific Auckland to Suva Flights

Fiji's national airline, Air Pacific is adding a Monday flight to its weekly schedule between Auckland and Suva. This will make it even easier for people to holiday at a Fiji resort or make a flying visit to Auckland.

After a successful re-launch of its direct Auckland to Suva Boeing 737 service on July 2nd, Fiji's national airline Air Pacific is adding another flight to its roster of flight deals to Fiji starting on Monday, 2nd August.

The flight schedule remains the same as for the current Friday service. The expected time of departure for FJ430 from Auckland International Airport on Mondays is at 0810 hours and the flight should arrive three hours later at Suva’s Nausori Airport at 1115 hours. Return flights from Suva of FJ431 will leave at 1225 hours arriving in Auckland at 1530 hours.

In announcing the second weekly service between the two cities just a month after the re-launch, Air Pacific Managing Director and CEO Dave Pflieger noted that the additional service should make a weekend flying visit to both destinations much more convenient. "Our team at Air Pacific re-launched this service in just four weeks and the successful result demonstrates what can happen when we focus on teamwork and partnership with key partners like the Civil Aviation Authority of the Fiji Islands, Airports Fiji Limited, Immigration and Destination Suva."

"Our customers should expect flights to continue and grow on this direct link between these two great cities - especially as we both get ready for next year’s World Cup in New Zealand. Fiji will be a great and inexpensive place to holiday for inbound and outbound visitors who want to rest and relax on our world-renowned Fiji resorts, islands and beaches as they come in from around the world to watch some of the world's best rugby matches ever."

Air Pacific will continue to use its B737-700 aircraft on the new route and all flights will offer eight Tabua (Business) Class seats and 110 Pacific Voyager (Economy) Class seats.
