Music Bumblebees Aural & Theory Workbook A released

Music Bumblebees announced that their new publication Aural & Theory Workbook A: Complete with Aural CD for Instrumental Beginners was released today.

This workbook is designed for young musicians aged 6 to 9. It contains an audio CD which provides instructions and aural training exercises, together with a structured teaching sequence and visually-stimulating layout with fun activities. This combination should be an enhancement over traditional theory workbooks for children in this age group.

The author Anna Lu believes that this new workbook provide a fresh approach to the existing music workbook market. The inclusion of a ear-training CD enable young musicians to learn music theory from the most important element - SOUND.

This workbook also aims to bridge the gap between 'classroom' and 'studio' teachings: rhythm names are introduced alongside British and American technical names.

Kodaly concept and learning sequences, which are used in the Australia primary school music syllabus are adapted in this workbook.

Anna also believes that the non-keyboard approach to the learning of letternames will greatly benefit the non piano instrumental teaching.
