New Survey Says Kids to Get Christmas Bonanza & Aussie Mums Confident of Economic OutlookSydney, 26th November, 2008 - A new survey published today by Australian parenting site Mum Zone has revealed some startling insights into how our country’s mothers plan to weather the Christmas period. According to the survey of almost 1,500 mums, 96% are concerned how the economy will affect their family in the next 12 months, however our mums remain optimistic with 79% saying that they believe their income will stay the same or increase over the same period and seem to be determined to that their children don’t take the brunt. Kids Expected to Have Bumper Santa Sack Booze and Holidays Get the Boot "As the survey indicates, most of us are worried about our financial futures in these uncertain times. However with interest rates falling and December's government cash bonanza, it is great to see that Mum Zone subscribers intend to spend their Christmas dollars where it counts the most - on their kids!" says Emma Newman, Mum Zone manager.
