Vita Italian Tours Announce 2011 Tour ItinerariesMario and Viny Vitellone of Vita Italian Tours now have itineraries available for their exciting tours for 2011. Vita Italian Tours specialize in small group tours to Italy which are personally escorted and, apart from your airfares, are fully inclusive. In May and September every year, travellers are escorted on Vita Italian Tours' popular 17 day “Grand Tour of Italy” visiting some of the most exciting destinations on the Italian Peninsula. The tour starts in Rome and includes an in-depth visit to the Vatican and the Sistine Chapel. Then it is off to Sorrento to visit Pompeii and the Amalfi Coast, stopping at gems like Positano and Amalfi. The tour includes visits to Renaissance hill-towns such as Urbino, Gradara, Loreto and the tiny Republic of San Marino. Then follows a two day stay in a Venetian villa to explore the delights of Venice. Finally, but certainly not least, there is a stay in the wonderful city of Florence and visits to ancient towns like Siena, San Gimignano and a special day tour to the Chianti area. Vita Italian Tours are offering $200 off the price of the tour if booked and paid before December 31, 2010. Naturally, Viny and Mario love to introduce travellers to the lesser-known areas of Italy, in particular, Le Marche Region which lies on the eastern side of Central Italy on the Adriatic side. This region borders with Tuscany and Umbria. Vita Italian Tours now have a nine day tour exploring the treasures of this unspoilt region which "from being Italy’s best kept secret, it is rapidly becoming the new holiday destination for travellers looking for a taste of the real Italy”. For lovers of beautiful mountain scenery and clean crisp air, Mario and Viny also have The Northern Lakes and Dolomites Tour in July. The tour begins in Milan and ends in Venice. In between there are extended stays in Bellagio on Lago di Como and in the Dolomites which take in some of the most breathtaking mountain scenery in the world. The Opera and Food Tour in August is also a favourite for those who love opera and excellent local cuisine. It takes in the Macerata open air festival and the world famous Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro. There is also The Best of Tuscany, Umbria & Le Marche tour in September which concentrates on the sights and treasures of central Italy.
